Syncplify.me Server! v4.0.3 released!

We have just released version 4.0.3 of our Syncplify.me Server! software. This version fixes a specific issue that only affected Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter edition; the problem may have occasionally stopped the REST API service when certain conditions were met. Now it’s fixed.

Syncplify.me Server! v4.0 Released!

Syncplify.me Server! version 4.0 has been released and it’s more secure than ever, featuring Virtual File Systems (VFS), multiple impersonation and isolation levels, ECDSA key exchange, management via secure REST API, and more.

WILMINGTON, DE – February 17, 2016 – Syncplify, Inc., young and dynamic US-based software development company, has just released a brand new major version of its Syncplify.me Server!, SFTP and FTPS secure file transfer server for Windows.

Syncplify.me Server! version 4.0 is not just an improvement over the previous versions, the architecture has been redesigned from the ground up to deliver an even greater level of security while adding manageability via REST API, a brand new and web-based Configuration Manager, support for virtual file systems (VFS), as well as advanced impersonation and isolation features.

This new version of Syncplify.me Server! is also ideal for those users who need to comply to the latest versions of the PCI-DSS and HIPAA regulations, as it features advanced anti-tampering techniques for its administrative logs using an “indexed rollover” digital signature methodology.

Maintenance release: Syncplify.me Server! v3.1.19.59

We have just released version 3.1.19.59 of our Syncplify.me Server!

This new maintenance release fixes a bug in the AVBL command that was affecting the FTP protocol family only (SFTP was not affected). Thanks to Martin for identifying and reporting this issue.

This new minor update (maintenance release) fixes a bug that affected only Windows Server 2012 and 2012R2 and prevented Syncplify.me Server! from correctly identifying overridden home folders for network user.

We have just released version 3.1.14.54 of our Syncplify.me Server!

This new minor update (maintenance release) fixes a tiny bug that caused the psftp client to raise an error condition upon issuing a bye/quit command. Now the session termination with that particular client program is handled correctly.

New major update for Syncplify.me FTP Script! Version 3.0 is finally here! And here’s a non comprehensive list of the main new features:

Maintenance release: Syncplify.me Server! v3.1.12.52

We have just released Syncplify.me Server! v3.1.12.52, a maintenance release that comes with the following improvements and new features:

  • User profile automatic expiration date can now be set via CLI (command-line interface)
  • A tiny memory leak in the logging subsystem has been fixed
  • Send buffer performance improved in critically slow network conditions

In order to set the expiration date using the CLI, you have to pass the date to the -autoexp parameter in RFC959 format (YYYYMMDDHHmmSS, no spaces). Here’s an example that will set the expiation date for a user at noon on Christmas day 2015:

Passing any parameter in a format other than the RFC959 date format specified here above, will disable the automatic expiration of the user profile. The following commands all disable the automatic expiration:

Maintenance release: Syncplify.me Notepad! v1.0.14.54

We have just released a maintenance update for our Syncplify.me Notepad! This new version fixes a couple small glitches that were reported by some of our users:

  • if already running, the application is not correctly restored and brought to front when an associated file type is double-clicked
  • the “.txt” file extension is now correctly appended to the file name when no extension is specified by the user during a “save” or “save as” operation
